Casa Marcial witnessed us tinkering in our mother’s kitchen, where we learned from our father the value of hospitality, service, and the joy of turning customers into friends. Our grandmothers passed down their recipes and love for cooking, while our parents instilled in us a respect for nature and local producers.
Northeast Menu
The Northeast is the wind that clears everything, blowing with strength in the places closest to our hearts. Those familiar with it know it is anything but gentle; yet here, it becomes an ingredient and ally. It dries fish, roe, and cured meats, transforming them into broths, sauces, and dishes.
Our Northeast journey spans from the sea to the mountains, showcasing our surroundings.
We are Sandra, Esther, Chus and Nacho Manzano.
In 1993, we opened Casa Marcial in the home where we were born, the same house where our parents prepared meals on request and welcomed neighbors for games of brisca in the bar.
Later, Gloria came to Oviedo and Gijón, two urban restaurants where we developed a more relaxed cuisine; Narbasu, our hotel and restaurant in Piloña; NM, a Michelin-starred gastronomic space in the heart of Oviedo, along with many other culinary projects →
